Oleg Larionov’s group at UTSA use their glovebox to handle and store air and moisture sensitive materials and reagents for reactions they develop.
LC Technology recently completed a custom glovebox system for OLED research. Trovato Manufacturing integrated 2 thin film deposition systems into the glovebox.
Dr. McIndoe’s group at the University of Victoria use an LC Tech Glovebox combined with electrospray ionization mass spectrometers for the making and discovery of new catalysts.
IFW Dresden’s Institute for Integrative Nanosciences use their argon filled LC Technology glovebox for molecular beam expitaxy by directly connecting it to the MBE transfer-line backbone. Samples can be prepared in various ways inside the glovebox (including etching, resist stripping, etc) and transferred directly into the MBE chambers. www.ifw-dresden.de/institutes/iin/laboratories/molecular-beam-epitaxy
CINS, the Center for Integrative Nanotechnology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock uses an LC Technology glovebox to develop thin films for solar cell applications. For more on #UALR’s research visit: http://ualr.edu/nanotechnology-4tlog/research/photovoltaics
Students work with LC Technology gloveboxes at the IPEM (Initiative for Photonic and Electronic Materials) chemistry laboratory at Queens University in Ontario, Canada. The system was designed for characterization and preparation of new materials used in electronic and photonic devices such as blue light emitting devices and ferroelectric liquid crystal materials. For more on Queen’s […]
The chemistry department at SUNY Geneseo has a very nice glovebox training video posted on their web site. To view the video and learn more about their lab’s research, visit: http://www.geneseo.edu/chemistry/glove-box-video
The US Department of Energy’s Ames Laboratory studies the role of ionic liquids to recover rare earths and other critical materials for recycling and reuse. Included in their list of laboratory equipment is an LC Technology’s solvent purification system. This particular system is set up to purify seven different types of solvents. For more on the […]
