University of Wisconsin Uses LC Technology Glovebox for Fab Lab

FabLab4Experts in molecular semiconductor and conjugated polymer synthesis, and optoelectronic device fabrication, Trisha Andrew’s “Fab Lab” clean room at the University of Wisconsin’s Department of Chemistry uses LC Technology gloveboxes for nanostructure spintronics. Using a mixture of traditional organic synthesis, ultra high-vacuum physical vapor deposition, chemical vapor deposition, sputtering, and e-beam deposition, they make unique materials and devices containing open-shell (radical) materials. For more on their research visit http://nanospin.chem.wisc.edu/Instrumentation.html
